當然獨樂樂不如眾樂樂,士堯學弟介紹的 pocket controller 現在不試用更待何時阿?!
聽說它可以直接用手機訊號定位,不過阿輝試驗的結果---目前暫時無法使用,唉...殘念! 也許要在國外才可以吧? 或者是目前還未完全開放.

緊接著阿輝嘗試型車路線功能-----什麼? 找不到!! 天阿怎麼2.0比1.0版還兩光! 好吧...我們慢慢期待它的2.0.1或者2.0版本看看吧!

咦!?會不會跟pc版一樣,它只認識英文阿? 秉持著實驗精神,阿輝當然給它'踹'下去拉...將將將將..哈哈果然這樣..

這時突然發生一件慘案,斷線...最好是這樣啦..什麼鬼勒,時候不早了,該是睡覺的時間了,大家可以試試看喔,若有什麼心得別忘了也跟阿輝分享喔!

knowledge system of Geomorphology education

What is Geography's knowledge system? Even does it exit?
I do believe it's almost mission impossible? not just due to its cross disciplines but its on going changing on nature. I do struggle on the issue which where is the knowledge system of geography's sub-disciplines!
Until now I try to find out the knowledge system on Geomorphology. Last week I ask Dr. Shensm whether there is any book about the knowledge system. She suggested me to type some key words like fundamental or principle...therefore I try to find some materials on internet and get a book("Fundamentals of Geomorphology"). Just as Shensm said it is not what I am looking for. It just remind me another great book--To Interpret the Earth: Ten Ways to Be Wrong . But again, it's not what I want!

Therefore I surf on some journals database and try to find out some useful stuff. Now I do believe the knowledge systems of ''Geomorphology research'' and ''Geomorphology education'' should be very different. and I begin to think if there is no definitely knowledge system for Geomorphology education or it has but it depends on social or educational context, what can I do? The question suddenly shifts to what is Geomorphologists' knowledge system for Geomorphology education? If there is no conclusion on it? Where can I
find the solution?
Then I found an interesting tool--concept mapping. Is there any research dealing with it on geomorphology education? hehe....Thanks for scholar google! Here we are--Psychometric and Edumetric Validity of Dimensions of Geomorphological Knowledge.
It's from Israel.
Is it possible to collect geomorphologists ' concept mapping for Geomorphology education and set up it as the knowledge system of our high school geomorphology education?

Adaptive Learning System

Jeremy suggest me to explore the category of Adaptive Learning System during the first meeting. He believes it's the area worthy of investigating. We talk about what sub-topics need to be clarified, including:
1.Which units would be suitable to applied.
Jeremy suggest me to find the units which may full of mythes when we are dealing with Geography teaching. By checking the National Curriculum Standard of Geography , there are some issues or units could be applied.
(1)Sustainable development or management
(2)Population
(3)Resource(1):water
(4)Environmental Change(Global Warming)
(5)What is Geography Issues?

Then we need to analyze the knowledge system of each units, even we need to deconstruct it.
It's significantly that GIS is not among the chosen.

New launching of my critical reading blog!

    Here is Wang! Also you can just call me Happy(by Chinese pronunciation, it means I get the dark skin) like most of my friend call me! :)
    Actually this is my second blog. The first one is call LinKGIS which is host by Yam Blog and the topics around the blog always link with the issues of high school geography teaching(not necessary link to GIS :P). Also I use it as a platform to communicate with my students and colleagues. That Blog does work well although I upload new articles very slowly during the recent days :P. So why I launch this new blog? Most of my friends just wonder....the main reason is that I am struggling with my PhD degree!
    I am just a freshman of Geography department of NTNU.And until I meet my supervisor Jeremy Chen(he is the main reason why I decide to pursuit my PhD degree), I get to realize although this department can not afford me many help on the category(using ICT on Geography teaching) what I hope to investigate. In order to attend my goal, it seems I have to help myself. Therefore I launch this blog for three purposes:

1.Critical reading
    Firstly I would deal with critical reading. And I would try to upload those reading materials on somewhere(until now I use google page). If anyone of my classmates of teachers do interest about it, I can share the materials and communicate with them more easily.

2.Figuring out what I am going to investigate
    Although I did have proposal, it should be more restricted and even redirected. So I hope as more reading and materials I get, I can find the real academic hole worthy of digging.

3.Communicate with others
    I do believe there are a lot of teachers or researchers dealing are practicing and studying in this area. Why I dealing with my critical reading by blog is it could be a great platform for communication. If any topic does interest you guys, please don't hesitate to comment and even join the discussion.

I do not suppose how you guys would use this platform, hope everyone would like to surfing here in the future.
